Singles Awareness Day, SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder), Anti-Valentine’s Day, Valentine’s Day, and now—according to Hallmark—Galentine’s Day. Whatever it is to you, I wholeheartedly believe to love yourself first is important to your mind, your spiritedness, and your body-- in turn, reacting to disparaging feelings toward yourself. According to Web MD, “Depression is a brain disorder that can lead to much emotional anguish. Changes in how your brain functions also can have a big effect on your body. Is it any wonder, then, that depression contributes to a wide array of physical problems that affect everything from your heart to your immune system?” It’s important to our health how we feel about ourselves.
