Oftentimes, while working through trauma, interrelated things within yourself that have fallen by the wayside become more apparent. You may start to see how beneficial gaining self-empowerment, improving your self-esteem, and loving yourself are part of your healing.
Allowing yourself the room it takes for you to “grow” forward is important. I believe the things we say to ourselves in our heads are louder than any other words.
